How do I book a free 20-minute intro call?

I offer a free 15-minute consultation or 20-minute intro call so we can both see whether we're a good fit before you commit to anything. There's no obligation and no pressure — you can book directly below.

What happens in the first session

You don't need to prepare anything or know what to say. The first session is about you getting a sense of me and how I work.

We begin gently

I'll explain how sessions work and what confidentiality means. There's no pressure to immediately discuss difficult things.

You share at your pace

You can share as much or as little as feels right. Some people talk a lot; others need more space. Both are completely fine.

We agree on a direction

By the end we'll have a sense of what you'd like to work on. You're always in control of where we go.

You decide what's next

There's no commitment after one session. If you'd like to continue, we'll book your next appointment.

How much does therapy cost?

Sessions are 50 minutes. I believe the process of starting therapy shouldn't itself be a source of stress.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does therapy take?
There's no fixed answer — it depends on what you're working on and how therapy is going for you. Some people find 8–12 sessions sufficient for a specific issue; others work longer on deeper patterns. We review regularly, and you're always in control of when to end or pause.
Is everything I say confidential?
Yes — with narrow legal exceptions. Confidentiality may be broken only if I have serious concern that you or someone else is at immediate risk of significant harm, or if required by law. I would always aim to discuss this with you first where possible.
Do you offer online therapy?
Yes. Online sessions are available to clients anywhere in the UK. Sessions take place via a secure, encrypted video platform. You'll need a private space and a stable internet connection.
What if I've never been to therapy before?
That's completely fine — many of my clients hadn't either. The intro call is designed for this: we can talk through any concerns and I'll explain what sessions look like so you know what to expect. There's no pressure and no prior knowledge required.
What is the session fee?
Sessions are £0 for 50 minutes. The intro call is completely free with no obligation. Please get in touch if cost is a barrier — I occasionally hold reduced-fee places.
Are you supervised?
Yes — I receive regular clinical supervision as required by my professional body. Supervision keeps my practice safe and effective. Cases are discussed anonymously.

How do I get in touch?

The hardest part is reaching out. If you're not sure whether therapy is right for you, just get in touch — there's no obligation at all.
